Apartment LivingGersh Experience students experience apartment living, either on one of our campuses or in a real residential community. Our central locations provide convenient access to major transportation, educational options, healthcare providers, social and entertainment options and, most importantly, job opportunities for our program graduates. The facilities provide 24-hour security service along with recreational and social gathering areas that offer many opportunities for group activities. A Resident Assistant (RA) resides on-site to provide supervision and additional support, as well as to help coordinate social activities.The Residential Aspect Involves Training In: Household Management Social Skills and Group Interaction Cleaning and Laundry Shopping and Paying Bills Peer LivingNewer students in the program are typically paired up with more senior students to share apartments together. SocializationStudents in the program are encouraged to socialize with other students as well as with peers in the greater community. As a part of the program, students take turns each week hosting dinner parties and other social events.
